I'm finally 18

I want to thank those who wished me, especially those who stayed up till 12.00am (despite having school the next day)to wish me, I truly appreciate the well wishing. Of course, I love the card made by Meiyin, the spoon from Charmaine, the signature pen from Zakkiyya, Yewchuan, Jeslyn and Jing Zhao and of course the surprise celebration by Daniel, Charmaine, Firdaus, Benjamin, Meiyin, Amanda, Joey, Khabir, Alex and Amiel. Thanks alot!

Anyway, haven't been updating my blog since the start of the new year. So I shall list down somethings that had happen.

1. I'm in the committee for FOWA 09/10
2. I'm the GL of FO 09/10
3. I'm hand picked to be inside Enrolment
4. My birthday
5. Watched Red-cliff 2 ( it's great)

As much as that, nothing really much happened, and I'm kind of in a lazy mood to elaborate. So I'll just stop the post here.

Happy New Year Everyone!

Say goodbye to 2008 and hello to 2009.
Let me just blog down whatever that happen in 2008 on the first day of 2009(it might be long)!

1) Going to SRJC for PAE. It was a good experience of JC life for me. If I'm not wrong I even chiong studies in PAE cause I initially thought I would make it to JC. But crap, I didn't

2) Getting back O's. Initially, I happened to dream of the O's result being sent to my doorsteps. When I open it, I got 12 points for L1R5, with Janice and Eng Khong getting 9 and Meiqi 12. I did told Janice about the dreams though. I went to MOE site to check and happened to see a section saying that results will be sent to my house. So I immediately called Janice and asked her to read and she was ecstatic cause it seems as though my dream came through.

However, when I read on.. It's only for private candidate. If only my dream just came true.. I'll be in JC instead of Poly. I remembered how much I cried because I'm disappointed with my results. I couldn't get over the fact that I did so badly. Missed JC by 1 point. Crap

3) Got a new job introduced by Huiting. Met alot of friends while working.

4) Went for Freshmen Orientation Camp. It was hell lot of fun. Made great friends in the camps.

5) Freshmen orientation week, got lost in school because the damn facilitator didn't wait for me and didn't even tell me there's a change of class. Lucky I met Yew Chuan and his friends and we went to look for the class together.

6) Flag day for CIP, a whole day hardwork with my new classmates and I only got 30 bucks. Not considered a bad thing.

7) Genting trip with my Primary school friends. It felt different when going with friends and going with family. It's more fun with friends cause there's lots of crazy stuff we can do together.

8) Winsor Chalet. Double celebration. Firstly would be the birthdays of my fellow Winsor brothers and "mummy". Next I get to find out that I got 3.72 for my GPA.

8) Mr and Miss Singapore Polytechnic 08/09. It's a good thing because I get to gain experience in planning an event as well as making new friends (inclusive of the contestants). It's a bad thing cause, it's too time consuming and it really took a tow on my studies.

9) Christmas was great. However in terms of money, it's bad. I spent a bomb during christmas period.

10) Appreciation Dinner was a blast. It's similar to a Prom Night but it's just better. Much better than in Secondary School of course. In Secondary school, I don't even get to attend my own Prom Night.

Well, that's the last of it. Well, at least it wasn't really a bad year. Just that bad things happens. Well, I'll just end here.
