Holiday is over and now is the start of a new semester. Which means new modules and teachers. The holiday was well spent by making myself busy at oversea attachment. Been busy doing research, so won't be having any problem adjusting back to study mode.
Well, the first day pass quite well. Except for the fact that I've got an annoying teacher. She's... ahh! I lazy to elaborate. Nothing really much to update. So shall end it here.
Time really flies when you're enjoying it. Now it's time to go back home.
My trip to Melbourne is definitely a fruitful one, I must say. I've learn a lot of new things and knowledge during the time here in Melbourne.
I was given the chance to try out researching, which was what I wanted to do in the future, and I got a good exposure and experience out of it. It gives me a glimpse of what researching is like. Even though the initial part of researching (reading up literatures) is really boring, it can still be very fun when you're actually carrying out the experiment.
During my stay here, I've got to really be independent and I can be adventurous! Taking the trams down to the suburbs for a walk/sightseeing and occasionally getting 'lost'. In addition to that, I happen to witness the staff union of RMIT going to strike just outside the school for the higher up to increase their pay. From what I’ve heard, the strike occurs not only at RMIT but at other university and institute as well. How cool is that? Even the student union here is really something. You have to pay to be a member of the student union and there are lots of student buying the membership. That really shows how respected the student union is.
If I am given the chance to come back to Melbourne, I certainly will. There is just so many good memories that I’ve gotten from here and I’ll definitely keep it for the rest of my life.
Now, shall get ready for my flight back to Singapore tomorrow. See ya!
